It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

What began as three high school friends road tripping over a long weekend in 1985 became the catalyst for the journey Greg and Puerto Penasco have been on together for 40 years.  Many trips to Las Conchas, Cholla Bay, Sandy Beach and Playa Encanto have evolved into several business and personal adventures.

Greg made frequent trips with his family in the late 90's enjoying everything from shore fishing and aquarium visits, to grilling and beach soccer.  In 2008, a chance meeting with Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers quickly evolved to the  production and event management of the band's annual events in Penasco and Arizona which continue today. "It prevents me from growing up and we all seem to have more fun each year," according to Greg. "Why stop now?"

Ongoing conversations with longtime friends and business partners Cathy and Scott Poturalski lead to the creation of The New Rocky Point brand merging rentals, lifestyle and real estate featuring Encantame Resorts.  "I want to share my elevated escapes and inspired living experiences with friends old and new."  Greg was one of the first owners at Encantame Towers which has led to additional investments in Encantame Soleil.

Recently, he spearheaded a partnership which now owns and operates at the legendary JJ's Cantina in Cholla Bay.  "Some of my best memories have happened on that patio.  It's been a lot of fun to help carry on the legacy Joe and John started in 1984."  Today Greg has the privilege to watch a staff of twenty-two achieve success, including Cesar Osuna who celebrates his 40th consecutive year at JJ's next year.  "I have more fun here today than I've ever had and Cesar and I still share the same hair color."

Whether playing golf at all of the three premier golf courses in Penasco, visiting and getting to know chefs at many of the tastiest restaurants, walking the beach in Playa Encanto (Ross insists it's the best beach he's visited anywhere in the world so far) or playing a leading role in many charitable efforts, Greg has become part of the community and wants to see it thrive for generations to come.
