OUR STORY
We didn’t just find Rocky Point. We Stayed.
Three stories. One place we all came to call home.
This isn’t where we sell you Rocky Point.
We already made our own decision about this place.
Somewhere along the way, Rocky Point stopped feeling like a getaway and started feeling like home.
We’ve watched it change, grow up, surprise us and keep pulling us back. The New Rocky Point is simply our way of sharing the places, experiences and possibilities we think are worth knowing about.
Three people. Three paths here.
SCOTT POTURALSKI
Somehow, a getaway became home.
I first came to Rocky Point when I was 12, after my parents bought a beachfront lot just a few miles from where Encantame sits today. Over the years, that beach became our family’s place — the spot we returned to month after month, year after year.
Even through school, a career in banking and eventually a move into real estate and development here, Rocky Point was always the constant. I brought friends, family and my daughters here, and somehow a getaway became home.
I still think of Rocky Point as Mayberry RFD on the beach — simple, friendly, a little rough around the edges, and better because of it. I golf, fish, dive, get in the ocean almost every morning, eat and drink my way around town, and still call this my happy place.
I really wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
GREG ROSS
The place I kept coming back to.
In 1985, the roads were dusty, the beers were a little warmer, open space was plentiful and there wasn't an elevator to be found. Following my first visit, the kind people and the freedoms on the beach—things I couldn't find in California—gave me reasons to return. Rocky Point was different for me.
Fast-forwarding through dozens of family trips, weddings, producing week-long concerts, supporting charitable endeavors, new business ventures and soaking in peace when chaos up North necessitated an escape, I now share 40+ years of experiences daily with buyers looking for the same thing I found many years ago. It is a delightfully imperfect community with world class golf, an evolving food scene, locals with big smiles and a beach in Playa Encanto that rivals those I've travelled to in Maui, The Big Island, South Florida and the Caribbean.
Rocky Point's character hasn't changed, but it is different from what most people remember. Investing has never been easier, and contemporary beachfront resort living is a reality.
Let's connect and create your own Rocky Point story.
CATHY POTURALSKI
What started as a love story became a life here.
I first came to Rocky Point through Scott, and before long it became part of our own story. We were married here in a pirate-themed ceremony on the beach, and not long after, I found myself putting down roots of my own.
My background was in design, and that eventually led me to help shape Bella Sirena, work with homeowners throughout Rocky Point, and open two furniture and design businesses here. Over time, real estate became part of the story too — from working with buyers and owners to helping teach the educational classes for agents in the area.
Today, I still split my time between real estate and design, but what I love most about Rocky Point is much simpler: the pools, the restaurants, long walks on the beach, and time with my grandson — whether we’re in the ocean or racing down the slides at Encantame.
It started as Scott’s place. Somewhere along the way, it became mine too.
THIS IS OUR ROCKY POINT
Come see why we stayed.
We’ve each found our own reasons to love this place. If you’re curious about what Rocky Point has become — or what life here might look like for you — we’d be happy to show you around.
